“Through my work I attempt to examine the phenomenon of beauty as a metaphorical interpretation of both Frida Kahlo and dreaming. What began as a personal journey of existentialism has translated into images of bird and flora that resonate with most people to question their own joyfulness.
My mixed media leopards embody an idiosyncratic view of the Dalai Lama, yet the familiar imagery allows for a connection between Bowie, cats and cinnamon pancakes. My work is in the private collection of Betty White who said ‘Gosh! That’s some real lovely Art.’
I am a recipient of a grant from Heartbreak Prison where I served time for taking mugs and scarves from the gift shop of The Ashmolean Museum. I have exhibited in group shows at Pret a Manger and the Uffizi, though not at the same time. I currently exist between my shrine in Oxford and the angelic realms of Berlin.”
